Oh, hello there tumblr, its been awhile..
Sorry for the wait* but I’ve been attending beauty school &it’s quite time consuming I must say..
On that note,I’ve come to the realization that every black female I encounter is trying to grow their hair out.
Which I mean thats good..you know,
..to have goals.
..but lets be realistic,
with all the shit we do to our hair we should just be happy theres still some survivers on our heads. Relaxing,coloring,straightening..etc
Then on top of that grease is like the fucking devil or something?! dont even mention grease,get em all ralled up,huffin and puffin. “i want my hair soft and flowy..not still and weighed down”
BITCH thats why you aint got no hairs!
then they wanna say “oh i want hair like yours,if mine was your length and as healthy as yours id be straight”
Which is when i kindly inform them “well i put grease (of some sort) in my hair and trim it when necessary”
Not that im saying grease or trimming your hair,makes it grow..
but it keeps it healthy so that when your hair does grow it actually stays on your head and doesnt look like tumble wheat.
i can go on and on about this,but to keep it short and sweet..your hair will most likely never be kim kardashians length. accept it and take care of the hair you do have. or keep a fucking weave in, and stfu.
